A combination shot of Jupiter taken on September 21, 2010. Jupiter was closest to the Earth during September 20 - 21. As per this NASA article, next close encounter will be in 2022. The streak immediately left to Jupiter is made by Uranus.
This composite image was created from 10 photos taken using a Canon EOS1000D with 55-250 mm lens. The shutter speed was set to 30 seconds and 10 shots were taken successively. The photos were combined using GIMP.
