For the first shot I used a technique called panning (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panning_%28camera%29) in which the camera follows the moving subject to keep the subject in focus and blur the back ground. This technique works best when the shutter speed is low. For this I had decreased the ISO & increase the aperture so that shutter speed was about 1/30s.
The remaining shots are just normal shots with high shutter speed to freeze the action.
