Common Jay Butterfly
A Common Jay butterfly, seen near my home. These are very active 0nes and all I could manage was to get couple of shots from far. This is a heavily cropped image of the original shot.Edit : This was labelled as a blue bottle butterfly earlier by mistake.

Lime Butterfly
A Lime Butterfly. This was the most cooperative butterfly I have seen so far. It sat there opening and closing its wings at times enjoying the attention it was getting.

Tailed Jay
A Tailed Jay butterfly, seen near my home. This is the first time I was able to take a picture of one of these guys. Extremely active, they hardly sit anywhere. This one was a bit cooperative, but was resting at in shade among leaves and I had to increase the ISO to 800 to get a shot.Wednesday, September 15, 2010
